5-Steps To Buying A Home

Ready To Get Started?

Pre Approval

Initiating your mortgage journey begins with consulting a mortgage advisor. This expert will assist you with the initial application and clarify the necessary documents to determine your eligibity.

Shopping

Now that you're aware of your budget for a home, it's the perfect moment to begin your search! Your real estate agent will set up a home search for you and begin taking you to view properties.

Offer

After locating the ideal home, your agent will assist you in preparing the contract and submitting an offer to the seller. This marks the start of the negotiation process.

Underwriting

With your offer now accepted, the lender will proceed to wrap up the loan procedure. At this stage, the property undergoes appraisal and inspection, and the underwriter scrutinizes all details for your ultimate approval. If they request updated documents, there's no need for concern! It's a standard practice, particularly if you've been in the market for some time.

Closing

After completing all inspections and receiving the underwriter's approval of your documents, your loan status will be updated to "Cleared to Close". The final step is to sign your closing documents with the attorney and move into your new home!
